I don't want to play with it". My 5 y.o. So we asked Grandma to get it for her for her bday. She took it out of the water and said, "Mommy, I don't like the doll's sound. The doll now sits in a box. She was so excited to get it into the bathtub.
I suppose I wouldn't want to play with a baby doll that sounds like a car either. DD wanted this doll so badly. What a bummer. However, once it hit the water, it started swimming and that was great, but it was so noisy. It's "motor" made grating noises. A waste of grandma's money and a sad little girl.
Too bad.
This is a "piece of crap".DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.It does not work at all, not even 1 little motion, changed batteries still didn't work, even took it to Toys R Us to see if they knew what was wrong with it, they couldn't get it to work either, made 2 little Birthday girls unhappy, sending this back. I should have listened to the other reviews but I thought I would take a chance. If I could give it zero stars I would have.
I bought this toy on Sale at Target last Week for my almost 2 year old. She loves it as long as it's dry but once we put the Baby in the Water and she began to swim my DD actually became scared of her due to the sound and such it makes while swiming.I think it was a good value for what I paid and I now once DD gets a bit older she won't be scared anymore. She takes her Baby to bed with her and tucks her in.
It just starts swimming when it's in water. My 5 year old daughter wanted this for her birthday after getting the swimming dog for Christmas. It stops swimming pretty soon after taking the doll out. The dog was a hit and so is this doll. It does exactly as it says, swims in water; and we don't even have to turn it on. I was afraid it would just keep going and going, but it didn't. My little girl loves it.
I like the doll because when it swims in the water it looks like a real baby. I wanted this doll for a long time and finally I got it for Christmas. I would recommed that you buy this doll for your child.
